- Price breakdown. 'Starting from' prices are indicative. The final cost depends on diagnostics, materials, and mandatory stages; the doctor will specify what is included and excluded from the plan.
- Hotel, transfer, and travel. Terms depend on the scope and duration of treatment. The number of nights, route, and possible compensation will be confirmed by the coordinator before tickets are purchased.
- Entry into China. For citizens of the Russian Federation with a valid domestic foreign passport, visa-free entry for up to 30 days is available for tourism, business, and personal visits. The regimen has been extended until 31 December 2027; check before departure official terms and checkpoint schedule.

Before installation, it is important to determine in advance where follow-up visits will take place. Observation in Russia is possible with an agreed orthodontist willing to work with the selected system: they receive the treatment plan, X-rays, and data about the installed appliance. If no such specialist is available, activations and monitoring are performed in Heihe.

How often do you need to come for bracket activation?
The activation schedule depends on the system and treatment plan. Follow-up observation in Russia is possible with a pre-agreed orthodontist who is willing to accept the plan, X-rays, and information about the installed system; otherwise, check-up visits are conducted in Heihe.
At what age can bite correction be performed?
Orthodontic treatment is performed on children, adolescents, and adults, but indications and methods depend on age, dentofacial system development, and the condition of teeth and periodontium. The decision is made after diagnostics.
How long does braces treatment take?
On average, the active treatment period takes from 1 to 2 years, depending on the severity of the defect, the type of brace system, and individual bone remodeling rate.
What is better to choose: braces or aligners?
Aligners are more aesthetic and removable for eating and hygiene, but are not suitable for all clinical situations. Braces are used for a wide range of bite disorders. The choice is made together with the orthodontist following diagnostics.
Is preparation required before placing braces?
Before placement, an examination is performed, active decay and inflammation are treated, and professional hygiene is carried out. Usually, a panoramic radiograph and other orthodontic studies are required; CT is prescribed only for clinical indications.
Is it painful to wear braces right after installation?
Bonding braces usually does not require anesthesia, but sensations vary individually. During the first few days after archwire placement, pressure, aching pain, and mucosal irritation may occur; the doctor will explain how to ease adaptation.
Do wisdom teeth need to be extracted before getting braces?
Not for all patients. The decision is made individually based on the position of wisdom teeth, condition of adjacent teeth, and orthodontic plan. Extraction is performed only when indicated.
What is the retention period and how long does it last?
After removing the braces, a thin invisible wire (retainer) is attached to the inner side of the teeth. This is necessary to hold the teeth in their new position. The wearing duration is individual and usually 1.5 - 2 times longer than the active treatment period.
